Dr. Virginia Le is a bilingual Family Physician, in English and Vietnamese, and the Founder, Owner, and Medical Director of VyCare Medical Clinic. As a child immigrant who escaped a country of persecution and oppression, Dr. Le grew up with a deep understanding of the importance of human rights and freedom of choice. Raised by traditional immigrant parents who sacrificed everything to give her a future, she carries with her a profound empathy for the struggles of newcomers and underserved communities. Her early experiences shaped a lifelong dream: to become a family doctor and make a meaningful impact in people’s lives, both locally and globally. Today, she proudly leads two thriving clinics in Vancouver and Burnaby, where she provides full-spectrum family medicine with a focus on women’s health and offers certified medical aesthetic services. Prior to completing her residency at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Le served as a Board Director for non-profit organizations advocating for women’s health. She raised funds and awareness by participating in marathons and organizing community events, demonstrating that advocacy and healthcare are inextricably linked. Dr. Virginia Le is also a dedicated mentor, supporting new physicians through the UBC Practice Ready Assessment (PRA) and Family Medicine IMG Programs. As a Board Director on the Vancouver Division’s PCN Steering Committee, she is actively involved in shaping initiatives that improve patient care across entire communities. Her journey, shaped by resilience and a commitment to service, continues to evolve. Dr. Le’s next dream is to build non-profit clinics internationally—bringing compassionate, accessible healthcare to underserved regions around the world. At the heart of her practice is a simple truth: medicine is not just about treating illness—it’s about honouring people, their stories, and their right to be seen, heard, and cared for.
